What we have done
In December we had a lovely time making tags for Christmas presents by using coloured thread and needles to create beautiful stars.
Gifts do not necessarily need to be physical presents, but perhaps more importantly a gift of time, a gift of a smile, a gift of friendship, the gift of a listening ear. We can give these gifts all year round!
In September we made woven bookmarks and thought about making people smile. Our verse was
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6 v.9
Challenge: How can I bring a smile to someone's face today?
In October we thought about Light and Laughter
What scares you?
What makes you laugh?
Our ver was
‘The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it’ John 1:5
Challenge: How can I bring light and laughter to others?
Every month we meet at 3-4pm to socialise, chat, have a cake, do a craft or activity and learn about something that gives a little food for thought.
Everyone is welcome from little ones to older ones! Come and have some fun, meet other people and go home with something you have made or done. There is no need to book - just come along.
